The L Side Table belongs to Ollain, Tellurico Design Studio's collectible furniture collection, originally launched in 2020 as a series of three side tables—Small, Medium, and Large. Available exclusively online, the collection reflects the studio's ongoing investigation into the dialogue between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design.Handcrafted in Italy, the piece reinterprets the historic Italian technique of stucco through a contemporary production process. Successive layers of S.C.M. (Special Composite Material) are applied by hand over a primary structure, creating a sculptural surface that is both tactile and architectural. Developed within Tellurico Laboratory, S.C.M. is a proprietary composite made from recycled industrial waste, binders, and pigments.Balancing sculpture and function, the L Side Table embodies Tellurico's vision of functional sculpture—limited-edition pieces conceived as collectible design objects while fulfilling an everyday purpose.Each piece is handcrafted and can be customised in colour, finish, dimensions, and function. The design language of the collection can also be adapted to develop bespoke furniture and site-specific commissions.
