George III mahogany silver table, circa 1775-1790. A most beautiful setting with your hallmarked silver tea service, the pierced or reticulated rim is above a veneered frieze, on squared Chippendale legs braced by fretwork. Each leg terminates in a bold block foot. All was very stylish for the period and very functional table and most elegant today.
