Zeng Peng is a China-based artist and designer from a background in Product Design. Having committed to the lead designer role in an experimental art studio, Studio Buzao, Peng explores the elastic boundaries of the conventional product design and studies the art of design in visual and spatial fields. Peng places an emphasis on encountering new materials and discovering ever-evolving bodies of work through experimentation and organic research. While intertwining the functionalities of the medium and the ultimate visual quality in design, Peng produces a contemporary body of work that sublimes into a curious amalgam of her artistic disciplines of provocative objects of balance.Peng sublimes the fascinating curves in architecture and evolves them into physically distorted lines in the collection. The concept of language stems from Peng’s memories. Peng takes it as an art of reproduction of imagination and recall like movies.
