A Swedish round tilt-top pedestal table from the mid 19th century. This antique birchwood table from Sweden features a round-shaped tilt top which rests upon a nicely turned central column that terminates onto a raised tripod base that gently cascades downward onto onto upturned volute carved feet. The birchwood is natural about the column and legs, with table top having a warm creamy wash of paint. This mid 19th century Swedish table, just shy of 2.75 feet in diameter, would work well as a petite bistro table between a pair of chairs, or as a lovely side table (perfectly sized to accommodate a lamp).
