Mosaic side table or plant stand by Berthold Müller-Oerlinghausen from the 1960s. The table has a triangular base with large radii. The delicate, original hairpin legs made of metal are a striking feature. The unique aspect of this table lies in the mosaic design of the tabletop. The mosaic fades to black at the edges. Within are three interconnected circles of gray stones, inlaid with abstract, geometric symbols in shades of blue and yellow. The tabletop is framed by a wide brass edge. The table is in remarkably good condition and shows hardly any signs of wear or patina. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
