Elegant tulip-style solid staved wood side/end table with attractive walnut grain and rich color by Prodelco of Los Angeles, CA, ca. 1960s. Prodelco was founded in the late 1950s and active until a factory fire ceased all operations in 1965. Given its relatively brief existence, Prodelco pieces are uncommon and desirable. Composed of a graduated round base supporting a sculptural tapered stem and round surface. Design attributes of California Modernism, New Hope Studio Craft, and Scandinavian styles present, but complements traditional, modern, and contemporary decor.
