This metal table was designed for East Hotel is the reincarnation of the bombed out ruins of an old foundry in Hamburg, Germany as a boutique hotel . The piece reflects the inspiration of surrealism and Gaudi . The table seems to be waving in the reflection of a carnival mirror. At once, moving or as seen underwater. It has sinuous curves in all the places. Not a straight line in sight. This piece was exhibited in the Chicago Art Institute's Young Chicago show and is part of the museum's permanent collection.
