Pair of 19th century tortoise bamboo side tables from France. The tables have a basketweave pattern on the top, supported on brackets, which are connected to the legs. The top is also banded by bamboo molding around the edges of the tables. The tables are supported on slightly splayed bamboo legs, joined by matching cross stretchers. It is difficult to find tables of this style in a near pair. The measurements of the tables are as follows: Left - 16.38 w x 16.38 d x 26.63 h and the right table measures - 16.13 w x 16 d x 26.75 h.
