For centuries, mother-of-pearl was more valuable than pearls themselves, which were cast off as divers harvested the shells so desired for their luminous, lustrous glow – a glow only revealed to those who knew which rocky shells held such staggering beauty inside. Our table is adorned with the thinnest slices of genuine mother-of-pearl, meticulously cut, placed and lacquered by hand.
