The pleat table high is part of the 'Sand in Motion' collection – a family of sculptural objects manufactured from 3D printed sand, using technology that was developed for the German automotive and aerospace industries. The subtle curves, in combination with the stark pleated sections of the Twist Vessel play with light and shadow and take inspiration from the subtle undulation of sand dunes.Movement of sand is caught in a moment and captured in these 3D printed sand objects. The collection of collectible objects includes several vessels, a chair, a standing mirror and side tables, which reveal the possibilities of the technique and the beauty of the natural material.Item is typically shipped in a custom wooden art crate which will be quoted separately with the shipping cost.
