A prototype or experimental side table in turned walnut with black center having a satin black Laminate top. One of two made but never put into production this piece by Herman Miller was constructed in the manner of the Eames walnut stools from the 1950's-60's for the Time Life building. Purchased in Zeeland Michigan home of Herman Miller from a third party who received it as a gift from a retired employee of the company.
