Rònd Side Table

Made of solid Italian larch and charred, this side table uses the technique of charring timber: the ancient Japanese technique of Shou Sugi Ban. This method, which is ecological and completely natural, protects the wood by making the surface waterproof. The charring lends a luster and smoothness to the table surface, creating a perfect backdrop for one's home. The table has been shaped in this preliminary form using a chainsaw.
