This antique chopping block comes loaded with personality, as well as a very desirable color and patina. It was hand-hewn from a solid piece of black walnut hardwood that shows beautiful movement, 7" thick and 18.75" wide. Sturdily made in the early 19th century or earlier, it is supported by a stretcher base and three simple splayed legs of mortise and tenon construction. As a side table, it can be used indoors or outdoors under cover and is flat enough to hold a drink or a tray. Of course, you can always continue its previous utility and chop on it! Overall measurement: 23” wide x 23” deep x 27” high. Please follow me on Chairish as I occasionally have flash sales for my followers only.
