Sculptural Mango Wood Side Table, Hand-Crafted Modern Organic, Batik Detailing

A wonderfully sculptural side table crafted from solid mango wood. It features a burnt finish where the exterior was burnt numerous times and finished with a clear coat. The table features a wonderful mix of wood textures and shades. Unique to this table is the "Batik" carved detailing that adorns is sides. This patterning was inspired by Batik textiles of Indonesia. Batik is an Indonesian technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to the whole cloth.
