Boneca: Marble composition on negroni, via appia and emerald green.The side table "Dança" is a reinterpretation of the work "La Danse" by Henri Matisse, one of the most innovative artists of the 20th century. it is believed that the idea for the composition came about in 1905, while the painter watched some fishermen performing a circle dance, the "Sardana", on a beach in the south of France. Its base structure alludes to the bodies present in the work. The spheres were used to give movement to the piece and, at the same time, repetition. The intention was to recreate all this soul present in the work, bringing a rhythmic pattern, colors and harmony through an organic and fluid design.Boneca side table is a reinterpretation of the work “A Boneca” (1928) by Tarsila do Amaral, the muse of Brazilian modernism. The figure of the doll expresses her understanding of her childhood, lived by the artist in a very sweet way. Here we seek to reproduce the Brazilianness and energy of the colors portrayed by the artist in the work, combining a playful soul with fluid and organic lines. For the representation of the form, we seek to respect the contour of the work, with the use of geometric shapes so present in the Cubist movement.
