Small circular table, entirely made of solid teak wood, from Pondicherry, former capital of French India. Its top, slightly recessed, is extended by a belt, in which the four legs of this piece of furniture are integrated. The latter are joined at the bottom, forming a cross of Saint Andrew topped in the center by a round teak. At mid-height, this table is provided with an intermediate tray, supported by a crosspiece and two pieces of wood. The whole is raised by the presence of four small square legs. We appreciate the roundness of this small table, associated with rectangular section legs. The result is a harmonious ensemble that can be easily adapted to different rooms in your home. ******** Period : 1920 Perfect condition after restoration in our workshop. Varnished finish.
