Charming little era -catering living room table, enhanced with subtlety by the shades of the walnut. The top is made up of 4 walnut core veneer elements, so -called "four -leaf" technique. The belt opens on the front by 2 drawers, spaced with a half-round wooden baguette. Their front faces are made up of veneer of falling and following themselves. They lock with keys, which accompany the original locks in perfect working order. The interior of the first has 2 large and 2 small compartments, as well as an important central space. The second is not compartmentalized, it offers a more substantial storage possibility. On each side and at the rear of the belt, we find the extension of the half-round wooden wand previously mentioned, which separates 2 walnut veneer pieces. The whole rests on feet in the shape of a "lyre", made up of 2 solid walnut elements with scrolls that come together, ending with an elegant cutting. A slight shaping of clear scrolls enjoin the lower part of the base, which is itself reinforced by a spacer, offering robustness and stability to this furniture. Functional and harmonious, this small table will seduce you with its neat finish and by the contrasting vein of the walnut. ******** Era: beginning 19th century Excellent condition after catering in our workshop.
