Small Napoleon III period book table in lacquered wood, presenting on its top called " à cuvette " motifs of flowers, net and scrolls, as well as a moulding in its circumference. The throat-shaped belt is also highlighted with clear fillets. The lid lifts, revealing on its underside an engraving of a country scene, with a fisherman holding his catch accompanied by two ladies. This table can be locked at will thanks to its original working lock and key. It offers a small interior space in blackened wood, originally dedicated to the storage of sewing utensils. The base consists of four legs called "chapelet" resting on a cut-out element underlined by clear fillets, resting on casters on the ground: this one is joined by a spacer to the same chapelet design.
