Three Rocks High Side Table, Marquetry, Insidherland By Joana Santos Barbosa

The irregular shapes of the robust volumes of the three rocks tables are finished in smoky brown Birds Eye wood veneer in high gloss varnish. Here is presented the model of the high side table. The small dotted nodules of this veneer resemble the texture of a true rock and the high gloss finish to the lake water, turns the surface almost an exact picture of the idyllic autumnal landscape. The leaves are embedded by the hands of a craftsman with the art of marquetry.
