This unusual and stunning side table is a masterclass of English Victorian craftsmanship. The triangular top is comprised of three panels of book-matched veneers, crating a lovely almost geometric appearance to the top. The three hinged sides each feature a marquetry inlaid urn nestled in scrolling foliate designs. Each leaf is supported by hinged arms that swing out, creating a circular table when extended. Standing on three spiral fluted legs, all terminating on original brass and ceramic castors. An under tier shelf connects the three legs and is further decorated with a fully-intact pierced gallery rail. the lower half of each leg features further marquetry.
