A handsome and high quality pair of Tuscan 17th century Walnut, Mahogany and Fruitwood side tables, from Lucca. Each wonderful table is raised by toupie shaped feet below the most decorative turned legs, which are connected by an X shaped stretcher with a finely carved central finial. Each leg showcases a wonderful and large scale turned shape below the protruding corners of the straight apron. The top displays the beautiful Walnut grain framed within an inlaid Mahogany and Fruitwood border with most unique angled corners and a mottled border. All original warm and rich patina throughout.
