Victorian Rustic Branch Twig Folk Art Side Table With Chinoiserie Top

Unusual 19th Century rustic twig side table with lacquered top and tier. English - Circa 1880.Delivery is INCLUDED in the price for all areas in MAINLAND England & Wales.The table design comprises branches joined in a criss-cross pattern, finished with brass caps at the ends, and silver painted wooden roundels for spacers. The top and tier have lacquered-tray style chinoiserie designs. The table has no loose joints and is sturdy for this type of design. The lacquered top and tier shows wear and missing lacquer decoration. One of the brass caps is missing. Generally the table shows lots of signs of use to the finish, but very aesthetic for this style of design.
