This vintage rain drum is very heavy and makes a great piece of furniture like a side table or plant stand. During it's time period it was used in tribual rituals to pray for rain, a good harvest or fertiility. These antiques are highly sought after. The originals were made starting around 600 BC. This one was made during the mid-20th century. It is 19" high by 13.25" wide and deep. I found this piece from a dealer in the Treasure Valley.
