Italian designer Romano Marcato's Yo Adjustable Side Table (2006) is made to bring in close and adjust with ease. Its design is marked by a sturdy Y-shaped steel base that allows you to orient it to your surroundings - sofas, chairs, stools. You can raise or lower the tabletop via a lever-activated gas piston. After years of designing precision tools and machines for use in the automobile and electronic industries, Marcato co-founded Lapalma, a company that specializes in the art of adjustability, in 1979. Made in Italy.
