Mid-18th century oak dresser base from England. The top is made from richly grained boards with fabulous color. The top has a molded edge supporting it, which follows down to paneled sides and two banks of three drawers each, flanking a central drawer over a single door, which opens to reveal storage. The central area is flanked with reeded columns. The drawers and single door are hand paneled in all different patterns for added detail. The piece is raised on gorgeously hand scalloped bracket feet.
