1990s Italian Convex Sideboard In Lacquered Tobacco Goatskin Attributed To Aldo Tura

Chairish

$18,000

This rare convex sideboard Attributed to Aldo Tura embodies the designer’s signature opulence and technical finesse. Crafted in Italy during the 1990s, the piece is made of oak, covered in a lustrous tobacco-toned goatskin that adds rich, variegated warmth.  Its gently bowed silhouette softens its architectural presence, while the high-gloss acrylic lacquer enhances the natural marbling of the goatskin. Four seamless doors open to reveal fitted glass shelving within—perfect for concealed storage. Aldo Tura (1909-1963) was an iconic Italian furniture designer known for his glamorous use of unusual materials such as parchment, egg shell, and goatskin. Condition: Excellent vintage condition, with no significant signs of wear. All doors function smoothly.
