The “Triennale” sideboard, model 29A, was designed by Arne Vodder in the late 1950s and manufactured by Sibast in Denmark. The piece on offer is a very early version, ordered end of 1958, delivered beginning of 1959, with the rare metal legs. The teak-veneered back panel allows the sideboard to be placed anywhere in the room. The sliding doors are painted on one side and veneered in teak on the other. They can be rotated to change the appearance of the sideboard as desired. The sideboard has been restored and is in exceptionally fine condition with minimal signs of wear (small veneer repair at the bottom of the right-hand flap door, see image 12&13, which is in no way distracting). The original cutlery inserts in the top three drawers can be removed if desired. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
