This mid-19th century elm sideboard is made from solid elm wood with a deep, dark brown lacquer finish. The flat rectangular top is flanked by elegant, out-turned side flanges that taper smoothly into the main frame. The upper storage consists of 5 aligned drawers with brass ring pulls, while the lower section houses 6 cabinet doors that open to a spacious interior compartment. Each pair of doors is secured by a classic round brass faceplate and pin latch. Built with traditional mortise and tenon joinery, this credenza offers excellent storage capacity and a striking silhouette.
