A very fine and untouched late 18th-century George III period pedestal sideboard crafted from well-figured mahogany. The bow-fronted central section features satinwood and rosewood inlay, shaped with a straight inlaid back, and is positioned above two long frieze drawers with inlaid panel fronts. It is flanked by taller pedestals with frieze drawers, above deep cupboards, each fitted with a cellarette drawer featuring brass handles. The sideboard stands on bracket feet and exhibits a lovely warm colour with an original patina.
