Svend Aage Larsen for Faarup Møbelfabrik Mid Century Danish Teak Tambour Door Credenza This item is missing the manufacturer's sticker commonly found on one inside drawer, but this item is absolutely an original as it has been in my family since it's purchase by my Grandmother from a Danish Modern furniture store in Washington, DC in the 1950's. (This is to explain why it's marked 'Attributed/Styled After' in the title) This credenza measures: 79.75 wide x 19 deep x 31.25 inches high Gorgeous credenza by the famous designer Svend Larsen for Faarup Mobelfabrik, made in Denmark. The finished back side makes this credenza ideal for placement in an open floor plan, making it a great focal point. It features sliding tambour doors with carved handles that open to reveal two long adjustable shelves on one side, four felt lined drawers in the center, and on the other side, one adjustable shelf. Doors disappear from sight when opened sliding seamlessly into the frame. This credenza sits atop four original solid legs giving it the very sought after “floating” look. This item was well loved within my family for many years and picked up a few blemishes along the way, which I've tried to represent as well as I can. All drawers and tambour doors are functioning well with smooth movement. It has been thoroughly cleaned, but there has been no professional restoration done.
