B-40 Sideboard in rosewood veneer with steel frame, designed by Dieter Waeckerlin in 1958 and produced by Behr, Germany. A refined minimalist piece, featuring five drawers with white Formica inlay, a mobile maple beverage cart also with Formica inlay, and two open shelves. The rosewood has been meticulously restored with two layers of shellac to enrich its natural depth and warmth, finished with a hardwax oil topcoat for lasting, breathable protection. The steel frame exhibits a soft, age-appropriate patina, highlighting the sideboard’s authentic character.
