Betty Rubble merge contemporary substances like polyurethane and metalwith high-gloss ceramic wainscoting, elevating an archaic design to a sophisticated and refined piece of art.The sideboard is part of Paleolite, an experimental collection of accessories that arise from Cibic’s research on Etruscan and pre-Columbian architectural languages, and from his obsession in collecting photos of stones and minerals to create collages. The objects are made with experimental materials, such as metal limes or super-light nebulized conglomerates.Betty Rubble was part of Be Yourself to Shine. The exhibition, set in an 18th-century palace in the heart of Turin, merges historic architecture with contemporary design, creating a unique sensory journey. It showcases one-of-a-kind pieces and installations resulting from collaborations with young Italian artists and designers, exploring the relationship between art, materials, and emotion.
