Early 19th-century chinese sideboard made of solid elm wood, heavy, sturdy, and beautifully crafted. the sides and center feature carved decorations typical of chinese art. The drawer fronts are also hand-carved and decorated. the finish is natural, and the aged look, due to age, gives the sideboard a beautiful, lived-in look. the drawers feature two contemporary brass handles, while two handles, lost in the past, have been replaced with iron rods. The doors also feature very large handles composed of decorated plates with latch locks, all in solid brass.
