Early 18th century hand carved oak lowboy from England. The top is made from two planks, with shaped corners, which adds such charm to the top! This follows down to hand carved decorated sides and three drawers in the front, also with hand carved banding and central carving. The top drawer is a lovely slender drawer, flanked by two larger drawers. There is hand carved decoration beneath the drawers which also add to the overall aesthetic of the piece. The table is raised on four hand turned and carved legs. The legs are cabriole in shape with carving on the knees and ending in fabulously padded feet. A gorgeous piece in wonderful antique condition.
