This 2-door sideboard is a handmade and modernized interpretation of the French Directoire style at the end of the 18th century. This period is remarkable with its straight, classical and timeless lines, often diamonds and /or grooves.The dimensions and designs of the furniture fronts have been adapted to our current interiors.The 2 doors open and close with 2 keys in brass and have a lock. Inside, 2 compartments are separated by a vertical wooden panel. The 2 shelves are height- adjustable on wooden racks. All 3 drawers have dovetails mounted fronts for more strength and better durability.The finish is a "chestnut" oak stain for the top. Other parts are white lacquered.
