This later 19 century antique Chinese sideboard buffet table was retrieved from Inner Mongolia and restored by the skilled craftsman. The painting on three door panels of this sideboard demonstrates the artisan’s commanding skill of shui-mo (水墨, "water and ink") also loosely termed watercolour or brush painting. With red square frames, three doors are transformed into 3 traditional Chinese mountain & water painting. The clear lacquer is applied to protect painting and wood. There are 3 compartments, 2 shelves in each with one removable shelf. Ample of storage space as an entertainment center.
