Large Louis XV style sideboard in solid oak and veneer. It features four drawers in the upper section adorned with geometric marquetry stringing and double cast brass handles decorated with shells. The four hinged doors have molded panels with an inlaid eight-pointed star in contrasting wood, framed by engraved stringing. The middle frieze is finished with checkerboard marquetry of alternating light and dark woods. The lower panel is carved with rocaille motifs and acanthus leaves, resting on cabriole legs characteristic of the period. The interior reveals a shelf in each compartment made of secondary wood (fir) with a pull-out drawer on the right. The antique patina shows signs of wear and darkening consistent with regional French production of the 18th century (Normandy or Northern France). Dimensions: H 115 cm – W 225 cm – Weight 120 kg.
