Danish Mid-Century Rosewood Sideboard, 1960s. Stunning Scandinavian Modern rosewood/palisander cabinet with vivid grain pattern. Double hinged doors with brass hinges and locks with keys. Above the doors are two drawers, also with lock and key. Inside is finished in Mahogany veneer. Two compartments, each with one height adjustable shelf. This classic and iconic type of credenza has a height of 77.5 centimeters. with the beautiful bookmatched rosewood veneer it is not only a practical practical piece of furniture but also very stylish. Fitted with new Art Deco inspired legs with antique gold finish. Excellent Danish mid-century modern quality and craftsmanship. Ample storage space for books or records for an example. Made in Denmark by unknown cabinetmaker in the 1960s. Same style and quality as Carlo Jensen for Hundevad & Co. and Gunni Omann for Omann Jun. Very good well maintained original condition. with only light patina consistent with age and use. Some light discoloration at one end of the top. Cleaned and polished. Ready for use.
