This is an exceptional credenza by Jack Cartwright for Founders. Fonders Furniture Manufacturer was founded in 1946, Jack worked for Founders prior to creating his own furniture company in 1963. Jack Cartwright and Milo Baughman were prominent designers who worked for Founders during their careers. The company produced high quality credenza among other items during their 19 years in business prior to being acquired by Thomasville Furniture in 1965, These pieces are highly collectible often using walnut with beautiful wood grains as in this piece. This is in excellent condition. The drawers have original liners in them. Appear to never have been used.
