This is an iconic mid-century sideboard from Deutsche Werkstätten Hellerau, designed by Joachim Nebelung. The sideboard is crafted from high-quality, warm ash veneer. Characteristic features include the striking, flush-mounted, semi-circular handles made of solid wood. The original minimalist metal frame consists of four height-adjustable legs. This model with six drawers is a highly sought-after vintage classic. The entire cabinet has been carefully refinished and shows only minor signs of wear. There is a slight color variation in the veneer on the top surface.
