Very rare credenza designed by Kip Stewart for Directional from the maker's Gallery V line during the 1960s. There are a number of striking design details worth noting including the decorative hinges supporting the doors, polished chrome pulls that look like a guitar's tuning pegs, two bifold doors with sharp beveling on the top edges and a stretcher base. The design, shape and scale of this credenza gives it a very stately presence. Extremely rare piece of mid century modern design! *If you are a local buyer/designer interested in arranging a viewing of this item in person you can contact me at [email protected]
