This highboard, model RY20, was designed by Hans J. Wegner for Ry Møbler in Denmark during the 1960s. Executed in teak with oak detailing, the cabinet features distinctive upper doors with finely woven cane panels, a characteristic element in Wegner’s storage designs of this period. The interior is oak veneered and carefully organized with drawers and generous storage compartments, reflecting Wegner’s emphasis on functionality combined with refined craftsmanship.
