Standing at the forefront of art and design, the Bastone cabinets and sideboards showcase Hartikainen’s interest in studying light and shadow and his appreciation of craftsmanship. By expanding the collection with a lower-sized version, the Bastone Low Sideboard introduces the opportunity for media console use. All of the Bastone Collection pieces are available in colours of Oak and Black Oak, with or without doors. The Bastone Collection sideboards and cabinets are manufactured from solid oak in Finland and come in two colour variations, Oak and Black.The origin of the word Poiat summarises both worlds of the company: a small village in the Italian Alps and a word meaning “boys” in one of the Finnish dialects. The love for Italian design aesthetics and heritage combined with the Finnish cultural tradition of collaborative working.
