The infamous Sheraton sideboard was designed in 1977 by Giotto Stoppino & Lodovico Acerbis. It won the acclaimed Compasso d’oro award in 1979 for its ground-breaking design. Remaining unchanged in nearly 50 years this is a perfect example of timeless design. This particular example is high gloss black laquer. In good vintage condition with minimal signs of use the sliding door mechanism gives a grand impression of quality and makes something as simple as opening a door a truly theatrical experience. The piece has been professionally repolished and does show some signs of use consistent with age. This piece has an attribution mark, I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
