Antoine Philippon was trained at the École Boulle. Jacqueline Lecoq, a graduate of ENSAD, met him at the design office of Marcel Gascoin, through which Pierre Guariche, Pierre Paulin, and many other renowned designers—advocates of minimalism—also passed.
