The sideboard is yet another piece from the Square series, taking inspiration from Brazilian modernist furniture. Its core elements encompass lightness, practicality, and the beauty of simplicity in its straight lines. The doors are designed to slide smoothly.It can be meticulously crafted from a selection of wood options including Freijó, Sucupira, Brazilian Walnut (Imbuia), or solid Jequitibá, complemented by authentic natural straw sourced from India. The addition of brass knobs adds a touch of refinement.Available in a range of sizes from 1.20 m to 2.20 m, this piece can be tailored to your space.The finishing touch can be either a natural look achieved with Danish oil or a distinctive charred appearance utilizing the Japanese technique Shou Sugi Ban. As they are natural materials, wood, straw and leather may have different tones and textures than those shown in the photos.The DesignerAmilcar Oliveira is from São Paulo. He studied Radio and TV at ECA-USP and worked as a film director for production companies such as Sentimental Filmes and Your Mamma. He is currently part of Mixer Films casting of directors. He studied carpentry at the Cosi de Legno school, by Piero Calò, continuing the teachings he had with his father and grandfather who were passionate carpenters. During the pandemic, he created his first piece, the Square armchair and launched am.o, an authorial design brand with his creations.Each and every piece is meticulously designed by Amilcar and meticulously handcrafted by his skilled team. Employing solely solid wood and traditional joinery techniques, our production process ensures the highest quality and authenticity.
