The mechanism is simple—painted metal, nothing fussy. The mattress folds out flat and stores clean. When it’s closed, the whole piece sits low against the wall, almost like a bench. It’s modest, well-made, and doesn’t try to be anything more than what it is—a guest bed that actually works.
