Early 19th century William IV sofa table circa 1830. We are pleased to offer this Regency/William IV cross-over sofa table which has just been re-polished in our workshop. Matched flame mahogany top with walnut cross-banded border, drop down flaps with beaded edge detail.  Cresent support with link to carved, shaped platform base.  Raised on 4 carved acanthus leaf detailed splayed legs, and brass paw castors.  2 concealed drawers to the front, with further beaded embellishments. Ideal piece for many rooms around the home, such as the hallway or living room. Slight undulations to 1 leaf, which is to be expected from a piece of this age.  Minor surface marks.  Ready for everyday use.
