19th century early victorian mahogany sofa table circa 1840. excellent quality solid mahogany sofa table, from the late william iv/early victorian period, this piece could also function as an occasional desk. freestanding with dummy drawers on the reverse to mirror the front. 2 deep drawers to the front, raised on 4 turned columns which link to the 4 scrolled legs, standing on ornate brass feet and castors. expected minor surface marks and fading from age, recently re-polished in our workshop and ready for everyday use.
