A mighty version of our architectural oak & walnut pillar table. Designed and handcrafted in England using traditional furniture and cabinetry techniques from 30mm thick prime straight grained English Oak with a huge piercing column of American black walnut. Our distinctive oversized hand-cut dovetail jointing to one end for optimum strength and display.These are intended as multi functioning pieces and can be used as end tables/console/sofa/coffee tables etc. They are robust, substantial, bold and visually striking pieces of completely handmade furniture, built to last. Finished in highly durable oils.We can create other versions/adaptations of this design - within practical parameters.We design bold and distinctive pieces of furniture – our main objective is combining the design alongside the natural beauty and properties of the raw materials.These timbers and materials are very carefully chosen for each specific design - maintaining our focus on the benefits, visual impact and strengths of what we use. It is costly to produce but provides huge benefits and rewards such as its striking medullary rays and superb stability qualities.
